med-fx

The Med-fx objective is to maintain high standards for hands-on training in facial aesthetic techniques for Dentists,
Doctors and registered Medical Nurses. Med-fx training will meet the following standards.

One full day will be spent on each Aesthetic technique.

Please note that you will need to bring a model for your hand-on training. If you are unable to supply a
model Med-fx Training may be able to assist you, provided we are asked in sufficient time.

The programme will include a trainers presentation on science and theory followed by the technique demonstrations
on a patient. Following this all delegates will gain hands-on experience under the supervision of the trainer.

Only one technique will be taught at a training day. Training will only be provided in a suitable clinical environment.

Courses will be run by experienced trainers who are known to Med-fx.

Med-fx holds medical malpractice indemnity insurance for the treatments undertaken at course by trainers and
delegates. This has been arranged through medical malpractice insurance brokers, Hamilton Fraser Insurance
Solutions (HFIS PLC).

Each delegate will be required to complete a test at the end of the training day before their certificate
is issued by the trainer.

A maximum number of 6 delegates are permitted on Dermal Filler courses and 8 on Botulinum Toxin A course.

Delegates will be provided with support materials including patient aftercare information, consent forms,
legal and indemnity advice.

Clinicians who have completed the Med-fx course will have the on-going support of companies who
provide the products.

Hamilton Fraser Insurance Solutions (HFIA PLC) recognise and support the standards provided by Med-fx.
Medical malpractice insurance can be considered on presentation of a valid Med-fx training certificate to
Hamilton Fraser. (Subject to terms and conditions).

Delegates have the opportunity to give feedback on the quality of the course and whether these
standards are met.
