Sculptra is a long-lasting treatment that can smooth deep lines, wrinkles and restore facial volume lost to the body’s natural ageing process. Sculptra is an injectable volumising treatment that stimulates the build up of the body’s own collagen.

The treatment must be preformed by specially trained medical professionals, Doctors, Dentists and Registered General Nurses.

Med-fx Training and Sanofi Aventis are proud to confirm that they will be working in association to provide you your recognised Sculptra training.

You will be trained by one of Sculptra’s recognised UK Trainers and will receive a certificate of self competency from Sculptra after the two days training. This enables you to be registered practitioner with Sculptra and therefore be constantly supported.

The training will take place over a six week period. You will attend your second training day six weeks after the initial training day. Your model will follow you through this six week programme, receiving treatment by you on every training day. (Please note that you will have to provide your model, this is because the model will be required to follow you during your training)

Over the course of your training you will learn how to correct deep folds between the nose and the mouth (nasolabial folds), folds around the corners of the mouth (marionette lines), sunken cheeks, wrinkles and lines in the cheeks or chin and deep scars.

The morning of your initial training course will involve a theory session and demonstration by the trainer. After the trainers demonstration you will receive an hour of hands-on 1-2-1 training.

The training is held in very small groups, a maximum of four delegates will be on the course, allowing you plenty of quality time with the trainer.

The second day will consist solely of hands-on training and guidance on how to complete your client’s treatment records. At the end of your second training day you will receive your self competency certificate from Sculptra. A Sanofi Aventis Representative can visit you in your clinic to support your treatment of a minimum of two patients between day one and day two of the training. This is an optional step to support you in practicing the techniques you have learned. The third and final treatment for your training model can be supported by your Sanofi Aventis Representative in your clinic should you require further support after your two days training.

Delegate Pack

Once you have booked onto the training course you will be sent a Training Workbook inclusive of DVD, two clinical papers which we strongly recommend that you work through, read and watch. This will ensure that you get the most out of your training.

You will receive three boxes of Sculptra for you to use on your training day. The product will need to be reconstituted before you attend the training, it is explained within the workbook and DVD how you do this. Your first two vials will be reconstituted for you by your trainer. There are two vials per box , you normally will use two vials during your first treatment, one vial for the second treatment and one vial on the third treatment. This will leave you with one box for future treatments.
